Andrés Mignucci, FAIA formed part of a multi-disciplinary team to prepare an urban design, implementation plan and strategy for the Convention Center District in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This new mixed-use district occupies 113 acres of the former Isla Grande Naval Base in Miramar in a strategic location between Old San Juan and the Condado Hotel District. The project has been adopted by the Puerto Rico Planning Board as the regulating plan for the area.
